Analogue Nostalgia

When I was a kid I used to walk to the record store every Tuesday. New albums are released on Tuesday, and I loved kicking fall leaves down the street while peeling open a colorful album and rocking the CD in my Discman (yeah, Discman, serious).

I used to walk to the comic book store every Wednesday. New comics are released on Wednesday, and I loved jumping puddles on the way home while marveling at Spider-Man web-slinging through NYC.

Those two rituals - simple as they were - kept me grounded and got me through the week.

Now I just use Twitter.
